From LoDo / The Ovadose Kid / Mario

To better understand where I'm coming from with this site here, I would like to give you a little more detail on my background and how this site came to be.

First of all, my name is Mario. I started composing music as a high school student.

You see, I first started doing music as a "freestyle" rapper. So I never really cared about getting specific beats when i simply used the instrumentals from famous recording artists. Well after a few months of freestyling, I had decided that I wanted to get my rapping on more of a professional level, rather than just a hobby. So I had invested in recording equipment.

I first used a search engine for "rap beats" and found a multitude of different websites that had some great instrumentals. YET with EVERY "producer" that i spoke with, the more and more doubtful I became. I ran into some of the most ridiculous prices!

With every beat website and producer that I ran into, the pricing for "leasing rights" for beats ranged from $25 to $100 per beat, and "exclusive rights" for instrumentals ranged from $200 up to $2,000!!!

I couldn't believe it. I was a high school student! My budget was no where near the prices that these producers were shelling out to me. So after that, I quit rapping.

Since that point, I have taken many courses, starting with BAND all the way to audio engineering at Berklee Music College. I have perfected the art of making beats, as well as mixing and mastering EVERY instrumental that I have posted on this site. Which is why I have came up with the concept of "Flawless Beats." So when you come to flawlessbeats.com, I want you to expect professional studio quality instrumentals from the first beat that I have posted, all the way to the last.
